Scale Up Happiness Program:

In many ways, the way we live our lives is like a process.  We go through the same routines, trying to accomplish the same goals.  We find a way to meet our needs.  However, in many cases, there are better ways that produce better outcomes.  This program applies process improvement principles, tools and templates to achieve the best outcomes possible.

It starts by defining exactly what we’re trying to accomplish.  Although happiness means different things to different people, there are 6 needs that people require to be happy.  They are a sense of belonging, purpose, achievement, growth, enjoyment and health.  These common needs are shown across many different viewpoints of happiness, color coded below:

The Seventh Need

Many happiness books give lots of great advice on things you can do to be happy.  However, most of them fail to mention one of the biggest contributing factors; our relationship with a higher power.  It doesn’t matter if you call that higher power God, Spirit, Universe, Allah, Source or something different.  It just matters that you invite that connection.  Likewise, this program does not promote any specific religion, but can help with that aspect as well (although it is not required).
